Summary: The AutoDesk MAP3D Utility Developer role is focused on developing and implementing technical solutions using AutoDesk Map3D and related technologies for electric utility transmission and distribution projects. The position requires extensive experience in application development, particularly with AutoCAD APIs and C#. The developer will conduct impact analysis, prepare technical documentation, and collaborate with various teams. This is a senior-level position requiring over ten years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct impact analysis for proposed changes in AutoDesk Map3D application
  • Prepare technical design documents
  • Develop and implement technical solutions, provide support for testing and production issues
  • Participate in project discussions, coordinate with client, project team, and other client IT teams on project-related activities

Key Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution
  • 5+ years of application development experience in AutoCAD APIs, AutoCAD Map3D using C#
  • Experience in working with AutoCAD, Map3D (Industry Model)
  • Experience in customizing AutoCAD, Map3D and AUD using ObjectARX using .NET C#
  • Experience with Oracle Spatial and PL/SQL
  • Familiarity with product architecture of Autodesk's Map3D and North America Industry Data Model
  • Experience of at least 3 full-cycle implementations for Electric Utility Transmission & Distribution
  • Comfortable in an Agile, fast-paced development environment
