Compensation: $20 – $115 per hour
Job Summary
One of our client is seeking a highly skilled Autodesk Inventor Expert to support advanced product design and engineering initiatives in a remote environment. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in 3D modeling and mechanical design to develop precise technical solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to high-quality engineering deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, modify, and optimize 3D models and assemblies using Autodesk Inventor for manufacturing and product development.
- Translate conceptual designs into detailed technical drawings and production-ready documentation.
- Analyze engineering challenges and recommend practical design improvements to enhance functionality and efficiency.
- Ensure all models and drawings meet applicable industry standards and project specifications.
- Participate in design reviews and provide clear technical feedback.
- Maintain organized documentation and version control across all project files.
- Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Inventor, including 3D modeling, assemblies, and detailed drawing creation.
- Demonstrated experience in mechanical engineering, product design, or manufacturing environments.
- Strong understanding of materials, tolerances, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills suitable for remote collaboration.
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Autodesk Inventor certification or related CAD certifications.
- Educational background in mechanical, industrial, or product design engineering.
- Familiarity with PLM or PDM systems and digital workflow management tools.
