Austraian Payroll Implementation Contractor – remote EU WIDE

The Role

You’ll work directly with clients to capture payroll requirements, lead workshops, and drive configuration and system setup through to go-live. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Validating and configuring payroll solutions and integrations in line with Austrian legal and regulatory requirements
• Supporting data mapping, migration, YTD preparation and accuracy checks
• Managing all testing phases – SIT, UAT, parallel runs – and resolving configuration and integration issues with global teams
• Overseeing go-live readiness and post-implementation stabilisation
• Tracking project progress and collaborating with project managers and wider delivery teams to hit milestones

What You’ll Bring

• Deep knowledge of Austrian payroll legislation and time regulations
• Proven hands-on experience in SAP payroll configuration and integrations
• Payroll Implementation experience must be demonstrated
• Fluency in both English and German – written and spoken
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder communication skills
• Ability to self-manage in a remote environment across global teams
• Experience on international payroll projects is an advantage
• Contract | Remote (Austria-based preferred)
