Summary: The role of Freelance Audit Specialist involves conducting detailed audits of third-party claims operations for a global travel tech brand. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed audits of third-party administrator (TPA) operations and claims
  • Review full claims lifecycle, payment records, SLAs, and documentation for accuracy & compliance
  • Track findings using a structured 5Cs audit framework (Criteria, Condition, Cause, Consequence, Corrective Action)
  • Collaborate with internal audit and risk teams to improve processes
  • Escalate process gaps and inconsistencies, and maintain accurate reporting documentation

Key Skills:

  • 2–5 years of experience in insurance auditing, compliance, or claims operations
  • Background in risk, auditing, or a relevant insurance/financial environment
  • Strong grasp of regulatory standards (e.g. SOX, ISO 9001)
  • High attention to detail, able to work independently and manage your own time
  • Confident working with Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, etc.)

I’m hiring for a contract Audit Specialist to join a globally recognised name in the travel and hospitality tech space . This is a great opportunity to work with a high-profile, fast-moving team on a mission-critical project , supporting audits across third-party claims operations. You’ll need a sharp eye for compliance , strong insurance/finance sector knowledge, and the ability to hit the ground running .

The Details:

  • Start Date: August
  • Duration: 3 months initially – strong potential to extend
  • Rate: £39.13/hour (paid via umbrella)
  • Location: Fully remote
