Summary: The role of Freelance Audit Specialist involves conducting detailed audits of third-party claims operations for a global travel tech brand. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed audits of third-party administrator (TPA) operations and claims
- Review full claims lifecycle, payment records, SLAs, and documentation for accuracy & compliance
- Track findings using a structured 5Cs audit framework (Criteria, Condition, Cause, Consequence, Corrective Action)
- Collaborate with internal audit and risk teams to improve processes
- Escalate process gaps and inconsistencies, and maintain accurate reporting documentation
Key Skills:
- 2–5 years of experience in insurance auditing, compliance, or claims operations
- Background in risk, auditing, or a relevant insurance/financial environment
- Strong grasp of regulatory standards (e.g. SOX, ISO 9001)
- High attention to detail, able to work independently and manage your own time
- Confident working with Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, etc.)
