Key Responsibilities:
- Design, solve, and review advanced atmospheric science problems with real-world relevance and scientific depth
- Apply expertise in climate modeling, meteorology, ecology, or sustainability to craft complex, rigorous problem statements
- Evaluate AI-generated scientific reasoning and flag errors, oversimplifications, or gaps in logic
- Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to strengthen model performance
- Ensure scientific accuracy, clarity, and rigor across all deliverables
- Work independently on task-based assignments — fully on your own schedule
Key Skills:
- Master's or PhD in Atmospheric Science, Climate Science, Meteorology, or a closely related field
- Strong expertise in one or more of: climate modeling, atmospheric dynamics, ecology, or environmental sustainability
- Proficient in Python or R for research, data analysis, or scientific computing
- Exceptional written communicator — ability to explain complex science with clarity and precision
- Detail-oriented and methodical in approach to problem design and evaluation
- Fluent in English
- Prior experience with data annotation, data quality assurance, or AI evaluation workflows (nice to have)
- Background in peer review, academic writing, or curriculum development (nice to have)
