Summary: The role of Atlassian SME involves delivering governance, administration, and optimization of an organization's Atlassian Cloud environment. The position focuses on enhancing system structure, ensuring reliable operations, and empowering internal teams through training and knowledge transfer for independent platform management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support end users and standardise projects, workflows, permissions, fields, and naming conventions
- Review current Atlassian setup and usage
- Define governance model (roles, responsibilities, change control)
- Recommend licensing, apps, and integrations
- Manage users, groups, projects, and spaces
- Maintain workflows, automations, SLAs, queues, and templates
- Oversee apps and integrations
- Perform regular housekeeping (clean-up, access reviews, consistency checks)
- Ensure scalable, consistent configurations across teams (delivery, service, engineering, product)
- Assess training needs across user groups
- Deliver role-based training sessions and materials
- Produce admin guides and playbooks
- Support handover to internal teams for ongoing management
Key Skills:
