Job Details

Ready to make a significant impact on the world of renewable energy? We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Consulting Assistant Project Manager (APM) for our Commercial Solar division. This is a remote position, ideal for candidates in the Mountain or Central Standard Time zones. The APM will work closely with our Project Management team to drive the successful completion of solar energy projects. Our ideal candidate has a strong background in project management, with a specific focus on commercial solar energy projects. With a minimum of 2 years of experience, you will be a key player in our team, ensuring that our projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning, execution, and closing of various commercial solar projects.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to define project objectives, set key performance metrics, and establish project plans.
  • Monitor and track project progress, handle any issues that arise, and ensure the project stays on schedule.
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of project budgets.
  • Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders on project status, risks, and changes.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Assist in the preparation of project proposals, timeframes, and schedules.
  • Conduct risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in project management/project administrative tasks, 1+ year in the solar/renewable energy industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in project management and scheduling.
  • Strong understanding of commercial solar projects and the renewable energy industry.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in project management software tools.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a remote environment and manage your time effectively.
  • Must be located in the Mountain Standard Time or Central Standard Time zones.
