Key Responsibilities:
- Posting daily results and preparing daily flash reports
- Multi-system reconciliations
- Processing accruals, prepayments, and journal entries
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Maintaining the fixed asset register
- Assisting with month-end reporting, management accounts, and ad hoc projects
- Supporting accounts payable and payroll preparation
- Managing banking tasks, including adding users and opening employee credit card accounts
Key Skills:
- Minimum 18 months’ accounting experience
- Proficient in accounting software (Sage preferred) and Microsoft Excel
- Strong data management skills and ability to work autonomously
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive
- AAT Level 4 or studying towards professional accounting qualification
- Experience in a dynamic, commercial environment (casino experience advantageous)
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Right to Work in the UK
