Summary: The role of Assessment Associate encompasses three key positions: Writer, Reviewer, and Scrutineer, focusing on the development and evaluation of assessment materials for Digital Support Services qualifications. Candidates should possess expertise in technical support, IT operations, or data analytics, contributing to high-quality assessment content. The position offers flexibility, allowing individuals to balance work with other commitments while ensuring educational standards are met. Full training and resources will be provided to facilitate effective remote working.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and produce assessment materials such as question papers, assignment briefs, and mark schemes.
- Review and evaluate draft assessment materials, providing constructive feedback for revisions.
- Identify and rectify errors or ambiguities in assessment materials from a learner perspective.
- Collaborate with Assessment Solution Officers and other stakeholders to ensure content meets commissioning instructions.
- Attend review panel days and training sessions as required.
Key Skills:
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Digital Support Services or equivalent experience.
- Experience in writing and/or reviewing external assessment materials to a Level 3 standard.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid team environment.
- Familiarity with IT systems for effective remote working.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Desirable experience in the Digital sector.
