Summary: We are looking for a highly experienced ASP .NET Developer to support, modernize, and enhance legacy ASP and ASP.NET applications while developing scalable enterprise-level solutions. The role requires extensive expertise in both legacy systems and modern frameworks, with a focus on database design, API development, and front-end technologies. The position is remote and intended for candidates eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. This is a long-term contract opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enhance legacy ASP and ASP.NET web applications.
- Design and optimize database schemas; develop and troubleshoot complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
- Work with Entity Framework, SSRS, SSIS, and Crystal Reports (older and newer versions).
- Develop RESTful Web APIs using ASP.NET Core and .NET frameworks.
- Apply front-end skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and TypeScript.
- Ensure applications meet 504 ADA compliance standards.
- Collaborate with Agile/Scrum teams and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely solutions.
- Experience with ArcGIS is a plus.
