Summary: We are seeking an experienced AS400 QA Engineer with expertise in IBM iSeries/AS400 application testing. The role involves validating enterprise applications, performing backend testing, and ensuring quality across batch processing, integrations, and business workflows. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both manual and automated testing methodologies. This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in work arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business and functional requirements and create test scenarios and test cases
- Perform end-to-end testing for AS400/iSeries applications
- Validate backend data using DB2/400 and SQL queries
- Execute regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing
- Validate batch processing, reports, interfaces, and file transfers
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives
- Prepare test documentation, status reports, and release validation reports

- Experience testing RPG/RPGLE and CL-based applications
