Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance applications on AS400 (IBM i) platform
- Write and optimize programs using RPG (RPG III/IV, RPGLE, Free Format RPG)
- Design, query, and manage DB2 databases
- Provide L2/L3 production support, troubleshooting and resolving system issues
- Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes
- Collaborate with business and technical teams for requirement analysis and enhancements
- Support system upgrades, patches, and performance tuning initiatives
- Ensure documentation of processes, code changes, and support activities
Key Skills:
- Strong experience with AS400 (IBM i) systems
- Proficiency in RPG (RPGLE / Free Format RPG)
- Hands-on experience with DB2 database (queries, stored procedures, performance tuning)
