Summary: We are looking for a skilled AS400 Developer to enhance and support our legacy AS400/iSeries systems in preparation for a transition to SAP across multiple locations. The role requires expertise in IBM iSeries development, particularly in RPG IV/ILE, CL, and DB2/400. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient technical solutions. This position is open to fully remote candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain applications on the AS400 platform using RPG IV/ILE, CL, and SQL.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable and efficient technical solutions.
  • Conduct system analysis, coding, debugging, and documentation.
  • Enhance and support existing legacy applications to meet evolving business needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, QA, and fellow Developers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application and production issues in a timely manner.
  • Participate in peer code reviews and ensure compliance with development standards.
  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and provide user training/support when necessary.

Key Skills:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in AS400/iSeries development.
  • Proficient in RPG IV/ILE, CL, SQL, and DB2/400.
  • Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
