Kinda Dusty Ltd is a global producer of concerts and live theatre productions, producing over 800 performances each year. We are an ever growing company that has built a reputation for producing world class entertainment both in the UK and internationally. Our shows play at concert halls, cathedrals and number one theatres across the globe, reaching up to 15,000 patrons per week. To date, Kinda Dusty have produced over 2000 concerts with their ‘Concerts by Candlelight’ series. These include; the first ever live rock concert at St Paul’s Cathedral, 4 tours of Australia and New Zealand, performances at the Coca-Cola Arena - Dubai and The Etihad Arena - Abu Dhabi, a sellout concert at Carnegie Hall - New York and several performances in London’s West End including a recent sell out at The London Palladium. Kinda Dusty continues to expand rapidly both in the UK and internationally, developing new productions, touring programmes and commercial partnerships. As the business grows, the senior team operates across a large number of projects simultaneously, creating an exciting environment for someone who enjoys working at a fast pace and being closely involved in the running of a dynamic live entertainment company. Kinda Dusty has developed long standing relationships with some of the UK’s and the world’s most prestigious venues, creating opportunities to stage performances in iconic settings that few promoters can access. From historic cathedrals and leading concert halls to internationally recognised theatres and arenas, we are uniquely positioned to create memorable live experiences for both artists and audiences.

The Role

We’re looking to work with an experienced Talent Booker who has an established network across artist agencies, management companies and promoters, and who can secure commercially viable artists for Kinda Dusty’s productions. Our focus is on recognisable artists with an established audience - artists whose reputation and catalogue have proven ticket selling appeal. These may include heritage artists, legacy acts, well known performers from previous decades, or established contemporary artists undertaking selective live performances. This role is not centred around discovering new or emerging talent. Instead, we’re looking for someone who understands the market for established artists and can identify performers who are the right commercial fit for our productions. This role offers the opportunity to help shape and deliver concerts in some of the world’s most distinctive venues. Alongside an ambitious and experienced production team, you’ll have the ability to pair recognised artists with iconic spaces, creating unique events that stand out in the live entertainment market. Whether it’s a celebrated recording artist performing in a historic cathedral or a one off concert in a world renowned theatre, you’ll have the platform to bring exciting ideas to life.

Key Responsibilities

• Artist Sourcing & Industry Relationships
• Identify suitable artists for concerts, tours and special events.
• Utilise your network of agents, managers and artist representatives to introduce booking opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships across the live entertainment industry.
• Stay informed on touring schedules and artist availability.
• Commercial Negotiation
• Lead negotiations with agents and management companies.
• Secure commercially viable deals that align with agreed budgets.
• Advise on market rates, availability and commercial considerations.
• Recommend artists based on audience demand, ticket sales potential and strategic fit.
• Booking Management
• Manage the booking process from initial enquiry through to signed contract.
• Coordinate with internal production teams regarding artist requirements, technical riders and logistics.
• Ensure contractual obligations are understood and delivered by both parties.
• Support the business in resolving any booking issues before or during an event.
• Strategic Input
• Provide market intelligence on industry trends and touring activity.
• Identify new opportunities for collaborations and future productions.
• Advise senior leadership on artists who represent strong commercial opportunities.
• Contribute ideas that strengthen Kinda Dusty’s live entertainment portfolio.

Who Thrives in This Role?

This role suits someone who already has credibility within the live music industry. We’re looking for someone who knows who to call. You’ll already have established relationships with the agencies and management companies representing well known artists and will be confident opening conversations that lead to commercially successful bookings. You enjoy building long term relationships, negotiating deals and connecting the right artists with the right opportunities. You’re commercially minded, understand what makes an event successful, and are confident advising senior leadership based on your experience and industry insight. Rather than waiting for opportunities, you’re proactive in identifying them.

• An established network of artist agents, managers and promoters.
• Proven experience booking talent for concerts, tours, festivals or live events.
• Strong commercial negotiation skills.
• Excellent knowledge of artist booking processes and contracts.
• The ability to assess commercial viability alongside artistic suitability.
• Exceptional relationship management skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively with internal teams.
• A passion for live entertainment and a strong understanding of the current live music landscape.
