Client is seeking a Senior-level DevSecOps Engineer with a strong background in software development, deep expertise in Application Disaster Recovery (ADR), and proven experience leading offshore teams. This role supports a major healthcare client and focuses on ensuring the resilience and rapid recovery of critical healthcare applications. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader with a passion for application reliability, security, and compliance in the healthcare domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Application-Centric Disaster Recovery:
  Architect and implement ADR strategies for healthcare applications, ensuring minimal downtime and regulatory compliance.
• Software-Driven Automation:
  Build and maintain automation tools and scripts to streamline application recovery processes.
• DevSecOps Integration:
  Embed security and compliance (HIPAA, SOC 2) into the software delivery and recovery lifecycle.
• Testing & Validation:
  Lead regular ADR drills and simulations to validate RTOs/RPOs and ensure readiness across application tiers.
• Team Leadership:
  Manage and mentor an offshore DevSecOps team, ensuring high-quality delivery and alignment with business goals.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  Partner with application developers, QA, product owners, and security teams to align recovery plans with business and clinical workflows.
• Threat Monitoring & Risk Mitigation:
  Identify risks to application availability and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
• Training & Documentation:
  Provide training on ADR protocols and maintain comprehensive documentation of recovery plans and test results.
• Incident Response Leadership:
  Act as the technical lead during recovery events, coordinating across teams to restore services quickly and effectively.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in software development, DevOps, or DevSecOps roles.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in Application Disaster Recovery.
• Healthcare industry experience is required, with knowledge of clinical or operational systems.
• Proven experience leading and managing offshore teams.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and recovery scripting.
• Strong understanding of application architectures (3-tier, APIs, microservices).
• Familiarity with HIPAA, SOC 2, or similar healthcare compliance frameworks.
