Summary: We are looking for two Applications Developers to join a public sector technology team in fully remote roles. The position involves developing and supporting modern application solutions utilizing Python, SQL, APIs, and cloud/container technologies. Candidates must hold SC clearance and a UK passport, as additional vetting is required. The role emphasizes collaboration in a remote environment while ensuring high-quality code and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Back End applications using Python and SQL
- Work with JSON and API development (WebMethods, Kong)
- Deploy and manage containerised applications using Docker
- Work with Microsoft Azure cloud services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fully remote environment
- Ensure high-quality code and maintain documentation
Key Skills:
- SC Clearance required - UK passport holder only (not OCI)
- Strong Python development skills
- Experience with SQL and JSON
- API development experience (WebMethods, Kong)
- Containerised deployments using Docker
- Experience with Microsoft Azure
- Ability to work independently and remotely
