Summary: The role of Contract Performance Tester involves conducting comprehensive accessibility testing for a major financial client on a fully remote basis. The contractor will ensure that digital products are accessible to all users, including those with disabilities, by identifying issues and providing actionable recommendations. Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting accessibility testing on various digital platforms, including websites, mobile applications, and digital documents.
• Identifying and documenting accessibility issues and barriers in compliance with WCAG 2.1 guidelines.
• Providing actionable recommendations for remediation of identified issues.
• Collaborating with development teams to implement and verify accessibility solutions.
• Creating detailed accessibility reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Conducting training sessions and workshops for staff on accessibility best practices and standards.

Key Skills:

• Proven experience in accessibility testing and compliance with WCAG 2.1 guidelines.
• Strong understanding of assistive technologies and how they interact with digital content.
• Experience with accessibility testing tools such as Pa11y, Azure Load Testing, JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and others.
• Ability to perform manual accessibility testing and provide detailed bug reports.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with development teams.
• Relevant certifications in accessibility (eg, CPACC, WAS, or CPWA) are a plus.
