Summary: A public sector client in Birmingham is seeking an Application Support Analyst for a three-month remote contract to assist with a large transformation programme. The role requires proven experience in application support, particularly within the Housing sector and with NEC Housing systems. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot complex application issues. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance software applications, addressing complex application issues.
- Work within the Housing sector, ideally with NEC Housing and associated systems.
- Handle applications with complex integrations.
- Understand tables and relationships in database systems.
- Utilize SQL for reports, scripts, and data loads.
- Work independently and take initiative.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in application support.
- Experience in the Housing sector, particularly with NEC Housing systems.
- Knowledge of complex application integrations.
- In-depth understanding of database tables and relationships.

Salary (Rate): £400 daily

We are working with looking for a resource that has and can demonstrate proven experience as follows:
- Practitioner level application support maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing software applications - complex application issues.
- Has worked within the Housing sector, ideally with NEC Housing & associated systems.
- Has experience of working with applications with complex integrations.
- Has in depth understanding of tables and relationships.
- Has in depth SQL knowledge and proven experience of using it - reports/scripts/data loads.
- Able to work on own initiative.
- Has excellent communication skills.
