Summary: The Application Support Engineer role involves designing, developing, and testing custom software solutions while providing primary support for application installations in a remote capacity. The position requires a completed T5 investigation and focuses on sustaining applications and services within the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Key responsibilities include administration of various applications, diagnosing connectivity issues, and ensuring compliance with security standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and test custom software solutions across multiple system components or applications.
- Create implementation or integration approach for applications and components.
- Translate system requirements into design specifications.
- Provide primary support for installation of application releases into production.
- Assist in defining requirements, designing and building data center technology components and testing efforts.
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for application and integration issues.
- Manage and safeguard licenses, keys, and other sensitive secrets within an approved vaulting solution.
- Experience producing and maintaining CDRL documentation.
Key Skills:
- Administration experience with at least two of the following applications: ALM Octane, UFT, LoadRunner, Dynatrace, ReadyAPI, CyberArk.
- Proficient in installing and configuring application client tools on VMWare/Horizon VDI Images and Pools.
- Strong experience with Oracle Linux or RHEL operating systems.
- Hands-on experience with STIG compliance using preferably Evaluate-STIG, Mitre SAF Heimdall, or equivalent.
- Skilled in diagnosing and resolving application connectivity and integration issues.
- Knowledge of SAML/SSO authentication and application-level configuration for identity integrations.
- Preferred experience with Microsoft Windows Server Administration.

Design and code applications in line with programming standards and interface specifications.
The team is responsible for supporting the sustainment of applications/services providing the backend administration and support in the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
Must have a completed T5 investigation.
