Oracle HCM - Application Support - Primarily Remote - Flexible Day Rate

Our client, a globally recognised technology and retail business, is seeking an Application Support Engineer to support a new implementation of Oracle HCM and UKG Workforce Management. This business is developing and executing a technical vision to improve the key services that support the wider organisation of over 15,000 employees. HCM is the first major step in this strategy and we need a strong support team to ensure its success.

As an Application Support Engineer for HCM, you will be a key part of a new support function, with opportunities to shape the function for excellence at 2nd & 3rd level support. You will be:

  • Collaborating directly with Payroll and HR teams to troubleshoot and refine end-to-end processing, from UKG time-entry to final BACS generation.
  • Utilising your expertise to support and maintain key performance metrics for the Oracle HCM and UKG Workforce Management systems.
  • Executing configuration and code changes with a holistic view of our business processes and system architecture.
  • Continuously improving our support framework through automation, self-service capabilities, and packaging routine tasks for 1st-level teams.
  • Managing vendor relationships, driving the escalation process, and assisting in the technical design of new customer requirements.

You will have:

  • In depth experience supporting an Oracle HCM implementation including incidents, problem/root cause and changes.
  • A background in IT infrastructure and Cloud-based solutions.
  • Exemplary customer service-focused approach.
