Job Description
You will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the Idox Uniform application, ensuring the platform remains stable, available and fit for purpose. Working closely with business users, third-party suppliers and internal IT teams, you will provide day-to-day application support, troubleshoot issues and help deliver ongoing improvements to this business-critical system.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support for the Idox Uniform application.
- Investigate, diagnose and resolve application incidents, problems and service requests.
- Support users across Planning, Building Control and other Regulatory Services teams.
- Assist with application upgrades, patches and releases.
- Carry out application configuration and user administration.
- Liaise with Idox and third-party suppliers to resolve technical issues.
- Support system integrations and data troubleshooting where required.
- Produce and maintain technical and user documentation.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of application support processes.
Key Skills
- Previous experience as an Application Support Engineer, Systems Support Analyst or Application Analyst.
- Hands-on experience supporting Idox Uniform.
- Experience working within a UK Local Authority or Local Government environment.
- Strong experience with incident, problem and change management.
- Knowledge of SQL for troubleshooting and data investigation would be advantageous.
- Experience supporting business-critical applications.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
