- Provide technical expertise in pre-sales qualification and delivering technical architectural designs.
- Develop and oversee policies and procedures for consistent backup provisioning and data protection.
- Involved in disaster recovery (DR) testing for backups, executing simulated recovery scenarios.
- Participate in configuring NetBackup policies, performing regular backup jobs, and troubleshooting issues.
- Provide on-call support for NetBackup, ensuring smooth backup and recovery operations.

Involved in disaster recovery (DR) testing for backups, role includes executing simulated recovery scenarios to validate the effectiveness of our backup and recovery processes. Ensures that critical data could be restored within defined recovery time objectives (RTOs) and recovery point objectives (RPOs). This includes coordinating with IT teams to perform test restores, identifying any gaps or weaknesses in our DR plan, and recommending improvements to enhance data resiliency and minimize downtime in the event of an actual disaster.
