Summary: The Application Development/Programmer role involves providing IT augmentation services to support the State of Oklahoma's PeopleSoft Financials system. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide IT augmentation services for the State of Oklahoma PeopleSoft Financials system.
- Participate as FCOE CORE Team members in project implementations and support roles.
- Translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
- Collaborate with PeopleSoft Business Analysts, System Analysts, and other stakeholders for support.
- Update manuals, job aids, and training materials as needed.
- Prepare test scenarios, scripts, and configuration documents.
- Identify and document workflow requirements within Accounts Payable and Travel and Expense modules.
- Provide functional production support for PeopleSoft modules.
- Assist with testing patches, fixes, and upgrades.
- Deliver timely production support and status reports.
Key Skills:
- Proficient with PeopleSoft Financials 9.2, PUM 53.
- Knowledgeable in various financial modules including Grants, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and functional users.
- Experience with Component Interfaces, SQR, App Engine, People Code, and SQL Developer.
- Understanding of State of Oklahoma accounting procedures and standards.
- Experience with government or State of Oklahoma projects preferred.

- The Office of Management and Enterprise Service, Finance Center of Excellence (FCoE), is in need of additional IT augmentation services to support the State of Oklahoma PeopleSoft Financials system. This support will include project management, support for project implementations, financial upgrades and fixes, as well as production support for Phase II state agencies.
- The supplier will be responsible to provide to provide a qualified resource as needed to allow for success with that State of Oklahoma modernization.
- The state has accelerated their implementation of PeopleSoft Phase II modules for numerous agencies. These resources will participate as FCOE CORE Team members and may take both support and lead roles in various projects.
- The resource must meet all requirements:
- Office of Management and Enterprise Services
- Proficient with Financials 9.2, PUM 53.
- Knowledgeable in Grants, Projects Costing, Contracts, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Accounts Payable, Travel & Expense, Treasury, General Ledger, Commitment Control, and Asset Management.
- Functional support for PeopleSoft Project Implementations, as well as protecting the statewide
- configuration and adhering to the statewide accounting procedures.
- Ability to translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
- Working with PeopleSoft Business Analyst, System Analyst, System Integrators and Oracle for functional and technical support, and other CAR or external stakeholders.
- Ability to work with and proficiently communicate with agency, technical and functional users.
- Updating manuals, job aids, SOPs and other documents as needed.
- Preparing test scenarios, test scripts and training materials and configuration documents as needed.
- Ability to work individually or with System Integrator to identify and document workflow requirements and design a process that meets both agency and statewide requirements within Accounts Payable and Travel and Expense modules.
- Be proficient in the following: Component Interfaces, SQR, App Engine, People Code, PeopleTools, SQL Developer, Bl Publisher.
- Functional production support for all respective PeopleSoft Modules.
- Ability to identify risks and obstacles within a project and provide a thorough assessment FCoE, IS, CAR and other OMES leadership.
- Thorough understanding of State of Oklahoma Accounting procedures, policies, and standards. -Assist with testing patches and fixes, as well as Financials PUM Upgrade testing, as well as PeopleSoft Test Framework maintenance and scripts for testing
- Preferences given to resources with government experience and/or State of Oklahoma experience, as well as experience with current PeopleSoft PUM Image.
- Production support completed in a timely manner.
- Weekly status report outlining work accomplished for the reporting period.
