Summary: The Appian Lead role involves leading the design and development of Appian applications, including SAIL interfaces and process models. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of Appian applications including SAIL interfaces, process models, and Complex Data Types (CDTs).
- Integrate with external systems and translate business requirements into technical solutions and workflows.
- Define and implement Appian best practices coding standards and governance.
- Architect end-to-end BPM solutions ensuring scalability and performance.
- Lead and mentor Appian developers and conduct code reviews.
- Build and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Drive unit testing, defect resolution, and performance tuning.
- Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and business teams for smooth delivery.
- Prepare technical documentation, architecture, release notes, and test plans.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and delivery planning.
- Support production deployments and resolve critical issues.
Key Skills:
- Strong expertise in Appian SAIL, Process Models, Smart Services, Records, Reports, and Tempo Plugins.
- Experience in integrating Appian with external systems using REST/SOAP.
- Good understanding of Java, JavaScript, and SQL.
- Experience with Agile and DevOps practices.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience with Appian RPA and AI capabilities is preferred.
- Knowledge of Appian administration and deployment strategies.
