Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and maintain architectural standards, design patterns, and best practices for Appian and other workflow platforms.
  • Partner with other application architects to evaluate existing applications and design modernized workflow solutions.
  • Lead end-to-end Appian solution design for strategic initiatives, ensuring scalability, maintainability, security, and interoperability.
  • Analyze and determine optimal use cases for Appian vs. traditional custom-code development.
  • Champion and contribute to the development of the Appian CoE, including governance, reusability, performance tuning, and enablement.
  • Evaluate and integrate complementary workflow technologies where appropriate.

  • Support Appian-specific CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices, and automated testing frameworks.

  • Contribute to strategic road maps and architectural decisions that support enterprise business goals.

The Technical Architect specializing in Appian plays a pivotal role in steering the design, implementation, and optimization of low-code workflow and automation solutions across the enterprise.
This role blends deep technical expertise in Appian with strong application architecture and workflow design capabilities.
