APIGEE Developer Remote Location

Summary: The APIGEE Developer role focuses on designing, developing, and managing API proxies using Apigee X, integrating APIs with backend systems, and optimizing API performance. Key Responsibilities:

• Designing, developing, and managing API proxies using Apigee X
• Integrating APIs with backend systems, including RESTful services, SOAP services, and other platforms
• Monitoring API performance, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing API performance
• Providing documentation and community support for APIs
• Collaborating with other development teams to ensure API alignment with business requirements and best practices

Key Skills:

• 5-8 years development experience on building APIs using APIGEE
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Apigee X
• Experience with RESTful API design, API modeling, and API documentation
• Experience with security protocols like OAuth 2.0 and other authentication/authorization mechanisms
• Experience with Java programming
• Familiarity with tools like Splunk, Postman
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
