Analytics Visualization Specialist

Role Description

We are seeking a Data Engineer and Analytics Visualization Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing| developing| and implementing data visualizations to support business decision-making. The specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams with various engine lines to identify and communicate insights using data from various sources.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop interactive dashboards| reports| and data visualizations using Spotfire.
• Collaborate with business to gather requirements and understand their needs.
• Analyze complex data sets to identify trends| patterns and insights| and communicate findings to the team for resolution.
• Develop and maintain data models| data pipelines| and data warehouses using tools like Dataiku and the Starfish ingestion process.
• Update and maintain distribution lists that send emails to end users based on captured data in the Spotfire reports.
• Conduct quality assurance checks on data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Be able to explain to end-users the details of a report and why it was created that way.
• Flexible and able to learn other ETLs or ingestion processes that provide data for Spotfire should business needs change.
• Flexible and able to learn new BI and dashboard tools to display data| like Palantir| should business needs change.

Qualifications

• US Person (living and authorized to work in the US) as data is in vaulted environments.
• Strong knowledge of data visualization tools such as Spotfire| Tableau| Power BI| or other data visualization software.
• Proficient in SQL and experience with data modeling| data pipelines| and data warehousing.
• Experience with data analysis| data mining| and statistical analysis.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
