Analytical Engineer (MUST HAVE - LookML, dbt & sql) Remote UK BASED £450 - £550 per day outside IR35

Summary: The Analytical Engineer role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data solutions, specifically utilizing LookML, dbt, and SQL. Key Responsibilities:

• Building & maintaining dbt SQL models, ensuring best practices in SQL modelling.
• Debugging & resolving issues in existing dbt models.
• Creating & updating LookML explores, ensuring optimised data visualisation.
• Working directly with clients to articulate modelling decisions and address challenges.
• Developing dashboards for senior stakeholders using LookML.
• Utilising LiquidIf for advanced Looker functionalities.
• Collaborating on data orchestration strategies to optimise workflows.
• Gathering & refining requirements for data projects.

Key Skills:

• 1+ years of experience in dbt (within the last 12 months).
• 5+ years of SQL experience.
• 1+ years of LookML experience (within the last 24 months).
• Strong client-facing skills with the ability to manage relationships effectively.
• Experience with Cloud SQL.
