Summary: The Junior Cybersecurity Analyst is responsible for supporting the implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of the company's information security practices. Working under the supervision of more experienced professionals, the role involves assisting in identifying and mitigating risks related to systems, networks, and data, ensuring the protection of digital assets against cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support security incidents by assisting in response (triage, initial containment, and escalation).
  • Document and record details of incidents following incident management processes.
  • Assist in conducting vulnerability scans (Nessus, OpenVAS, Qualys, Orca).
  • Classify and prioritize vulnerabilities, proposing corrective actions with responsible areas.
  • Support the review and maintenance of security policies and access control (AD, LDAP, IAM).
  • Assist in managing privileged accounts (PAM) and periodic permission reviews.
  • Contribute to the development of training materials and information security awareness campaigns.
  • Participate in internal workshops and simulated phishing sessions.
  • Keep manuals, process flows, and security checklists updated.
  • Support the creation of runbooks and incident response guides.

Key Skills:

  • English (reading, writing, and speaking).
  • Higher education in Computer Networks, Information Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
  • Fundamentals of networking (TCP/IP, routing, switching).
  • Operating systems: Windows Server and Linux.
  • Network security: firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN.
  • Monitoring and log analysis tools (SIEM).
  • Basic knowledge of cryptography and security protocols (SSL/TLS, IPSec).
