Genpact is seeking an experienced consultant to lead or perform the independent validation of a sanctions-screening solution for a U.
S. bank.
Consultant to lead an independent OFAC sanctions-screening validation.
Direct experience with a WatchDOG-to-LexisNexis migration or validation of both platforms in a comparable migration context is critical.
The consultant must be able to assess matching logic, thresholds, list ingestion, data migration, regression results, false positives, false negatives, governance, and operational controls, and produce regulator-defensible workpapers and reports.
Experience with Palantir transaction-monitoring models is a strong nice-to-have.
Responsibilities
- Confirm the validation perimeter, including list management, customer screening, payment screening, matching logic, and related controls.
- Review model documentation, business requirements, system configurations, governance, and implementation evidence.
- Assess data migration, mappings, screening populations, and sanctions-list ingestion controls.
- Test matching logic, thresholds, aliases, alternate spellings, fuzzy and phonetic matching, transliteration, identifiers, and suppression rules.
- Develop and execute positive, negative, boundary, false-positive, and false-negative test cases.
- Perform old vs. new platform regression testing, subject to the agreed scope and acceptance criteria.
- Investigate and document differences between legacy and target-system results.
- Evaluate monitoring, change management, access controls, exception handling, and audit trails.
- Produce regulator-defensible workpapers, risk-rated findings, remediation recommendations, and validation reports.
- Present methodology, results, and conclusions to Genpact and client Model Risk Management stakeholders.
Required qualifications
- At least five years of experience in sanctions compliance, OFAC screening, financial-crime analytics, or model validation.
- Demonstrated experience independently validating sanctions-screening or name-matching systems.
- Strong knowledge of OFAC requirements and U.S. banking regulatory expectations.
- Experience evaluating matching algorithms, thresholds, data quality, list ingestion, configuration, false positives, and false negatives.
- Strong analytical, technical-writing, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Availability for the full engagement period.
- Critical experience requirement
- Candidates should have direct, hands-on experience with WatchDOG-to-LexisNexis migrations or with validating both platforms in a comparable migration context.
Candidates should understand:
- WatchDOG and LexisNexis configurations and data requirements
- Differences in matching logic, scoring, and alert generation
- Legacy-to-target regression testing
- Migration reconciliation and discrepancy analysis
- Definition of acceptable versus unexplained system differences
- Testing of names, aliases, identifiers, thresholds, and sanctions-list updates
- Candidates without meaningful WatchDOG and LexisNexis experience are unlikely to be suitable unless they bring directly comparable sanctions-platform migration and validation expertise.
