Summary: The Amazon Connect Developer role involves designing, implementing, and supporting cloud-based contact center solutions using Amazon Connect and AWS technologies. The position requires collaboration with technical and business stakeholders to create scalable customer engagement platforms across various channels. The developer will also be responsible for integrating systems and ensuring platform performance and compliance. This is a contract position with a focus on technical expertise in AWS and Amazon Connect.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable Amazon Connect solutions using Infrastructure as Code
- Build and configure contact flows, IVRs, routing profiles, queues, and agent hierarchies
- Develop automation scripts and workflow enhancements across AWS environments
- Support platform upgrades, migrations, and feature implementations
- Integrate Amazon Connect with CRMs, ticketing systems, and workforce platforms
- Implement reporting and analytics solutions using AWS-native tools
- Leverage AI/ML services such as Amazon Lex and Amazon Polly
- Monitor platform performance, security, compliance, and availability
- Troubleshoot voice, routing, and infrastructure-related issues
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and business teams
- Produce technical documentation and support best practices
Key Skills:
- 4+ years of experience with Amazon Connect
- Strong AWS and Infrastructure as Code expertise
- Experience securing AWS environments and IAM
- Strong Scripting skills (Python, JavaScript, etc.)
- Experience with DevOps tooling and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of contact centre architecture and integrations
- Experience with contact centre migrations
- Experience with Amazon Connect, Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, EventBridge, S3, Kinesis, Step Functions, Amazon Lex, CloudFront, Terraform/CloudFormation
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
