Summary: The Alvaria Platform Engineer II is responsible for managing and maintaining the Alvaria Aspect platform, ensuring system stability, security, and performance through updates and testing. This position is remote and involves part-time hours with some work required during nights and weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Maintenance & Updates
- Apply Windows OS patches and security updates to Alvaria Aspect servers.
- Perform database updates and schema changes as required.
- Install and configure Alvaria Aspect software updates and hotfixes.
- Testing & Validation
- Conduct comprehensive system testing post-update to ensure functionality and stability.
- Validate integrations and confirm that all services are operational after changes.
- Document test results and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Troubleshooting & Support
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to Alvaria Aspect components.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors for escalated support.
- Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of updates, patches, and system changes.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security and operational standards.
Key Skills:
- Familiarity with Alvaria Aspect platform architecture and components.
- Familiarity with Windows Server administration.

Work Schedule
- As needed nights / weekends (no daytime hours)
- Will have about 5+ days notice of required work
- Part-time hours: about 4-6 hours per week
- Two changes per weekend, roughly 2-3 hours each
