AI Transformation Leader – Finance (AI & Process Transformation)

Job Description

IT Convergence is seeking an experienced AI Transformation Leader to drive AI-powered transformation across the Finance function, covering the complete financial lifecycle from budgeting and forecasting to accounting, procurement, order-to-cash, collections, and financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Finance business processes, AI transformation, enterprise automation, and financial governance. This role involves identifying AI-driven opportunities, redesigning finance workflows, improving operational efficiency, and implementing AI solutions while ensuring strict adherence to SOX compliance, internal controls, and audit requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead AI transformation initiatives across the Finance function, including FP&A, Accounting, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Collections, Treasury, Payroll, and Financial Reporting.
• Conduct Finance process walkthroughs to identify manual, high-volume, rules-based, and judgment-intensive activities suitable for AI automation.
• Evaluate and prioritize AI opportunities based on business value, feasibility, control risks, data readiness, and implementation effort.
• Reimagine FP&A processes, including budgeting, rolling forecasts, variance analysis, and board reporting using AI-driven solutions.
• Implement AI-powered collections strategies, including intelligent accounts receivable prioritization and aging analysis.
• Enable AI-driven financial reporting and natural language querying for CFO-level insights and executive decision-making.
• Transform Purchasing and Procurement workflows through AI-driven process optimization.
• Ensure every AI-driven financial action incorporates appropriate human review and approval controls.
• Position AI as a control enhancement mechanism while maintaining strict SOX compliance and audit standards.
• Define and monitor Finance KPIs, including financial close cycle time, forecast accuracy, Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), purchasing turnaround time, invoice processing touch time, and audit findings.
• Ensure all AI solutions involving financial data receive appropriate IT and Information Security approvals.
• Drive the adoption of Oracle EBS as the system of record and prevent the creation of shadow ERP systems or parallel financial platforms.
• Promote Snowflake and Sigma as strategic platforms for Finance analytics and reporting, reducing dependency on Excel-based reporting models.
• Establish a centralized AI Center of Excellence (CoE) intake and governance process for Finance AI initiatives, extensions, and reporting requests.
• Drive Finance process automation using UiPath and AI-powered platforms.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, Information Security, Compliance, and business stakeholders to deliver enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.
