Summary: The AI Tools Enablement Engineer is responsible for maintaining expertise in Agentic AI platforms and conducting technical assessments of AI tools. This role involves designing proof of concepts, ensuring secure integration, and operationalizing tools to meet enterprise requirements. The position is remote and is structured as a contract to hire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain senior-level knowledge of Agentic AI platforms, frameworks, and tooling
  • Evaluate capabilities such as orchestration, autonomy levels, memory, integrations, and guardrails
  • Stay aligned with vendor roadmaps and emerging AI tooling trends
  • Conduct thorough technical assessments of AI tools, platforms, and extensions
  • Evaluate architecture, data flow, identity model, network requirements, and dependencies
  • Identify risks, limitations, and operational considerations
  • Design and execute POCs for candidate AI tools
  • Partner with architecture, cloud, security, and platform teams during validation
  • Document findings, recommendations, and required controls
  • Work closely with Security on data protection, identity, logging, and threat modeling
  • Work closely with Cloud & Networking on connectivity, performance, and scalability
  • Work closely with Enterprise Architecture on alignment to standards and future-state design
  • Define enablement patterns that can be reused across teams
  • Ensure tools meet enterprise requirements for availability, monitoring, supportability, and lifecycle management
  • Partner with operations teams to define runbooks, escalation paths, and support models
  • Reduce long-term operational risk and technical debt
