Summary: The AI Technical Architect role is a 6-month contract focused on deploying Generative AI models for a key partner. Candidates must have active Security Check Clearance (SC) and extensive experience in IT and Azure. The position is remote and requires immediate availability. Only UK-based candidates will be considered for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy Generative AI models as part of an AI implementation project.
- Architect, design, and implement solutions on-premises and in the cloud using hybrid models.
- Customize pretrained AI models and ensure compliance with UK Government standards.
- Utilize Python and PySpark in the development process.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to meet project objectives.
Key Skills:
- Active Security Check (SC) clearance.
- 10+ years of IT experience.
- 5 years of experience within Azure.
- Knowledge of Python and PySpark.
- Hands-on experience in deploying generative models.
- Experience in customizing pretrained AI models.
- Experience in architecting and implementing hybrid solutions.
- Immediate availability to start.

RED has a new contract opportunity for an AI Technical Architect to join one of our key partners on an exciting AI implementation project focused on deploying Generative AI models.
The initial contract will be for 6 months with a scope for extension. Active Security Check Clearance (SC) is a requirement.
This contract is to start ASAP and will be remote. Please note, only UK-based candidates will be considered.
*This role is inside IR35.*
Specific skills/experience required:
- Must hold active Security Check (SC) clearance in accordance with UK Government standards
- 10+ years of IT experience
- 5 years of experience within Azure
- Knowledge of Python & PySpark
- Hands-on experience in deploying a variety of generative models
- Experience with customising pretrained AI models
- Experience in architecting, designing, and implementing solutions on-premises in the cloud and using hybrid models
