Job Summary
We are looking for an AI SETA (Scientific, Engineering & Technical Assistance) Systems Engineer to provide technical and systems engineering support for AI-enabled systems and related projects.
The role involves requirements analysis, system integration, testing, technical documentation, and coordination with engineering and AI/ML teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design, development, and integration of AI-enabled systems.
- Analyze and document system and technical requirements.
- Support integration of AI/ML models with software, hardware, and data systems.
- Assist with system testing, validation, verification, and troubleshooting.
- Work with AI/ML, software, systems, and engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
- Support system architecture, interface definition, and technical trade-off studies.
- Monitor system performance and assist with identifying areas for improvement.
- Prepare technical documentation, test plans, reports, and engineering specifications.
- Support system demonstrations, evaluations, and customer technical reviews.
- Ensure compliance with applicable engineering, security, and quality standards.
Required Skills
- Understanding of systems engineering concepts and development lifecycle.
- Basic knowledge of AI/ML concepts and applications.
- Familiarity with software development, APIs, databases, and system integration.
- Knowledge of Python or similar programming/scripting languages.
- Understanding of data processing, model deployment, and testing concepts.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Good technical communication and documentation skills.
