AI Project Delivery Manager - £600 per day - Contract

On behalf of a UK Government department, we are looking for an experienced Project Delivery Manager to support a growing AI initiative focused on delivering practical AI-enabled change across the organisation.
This is a delivery-focused role for someone who can bring structure, pace and coordination to a complex, evolving environment, working across multidisciplinary teams and senior stakeholders.
We're looking for:
- Strong experience delivering projects or programmes within a complex organisational environment
- Proven experience managing delivery plans, milestones, risks, issues and dependencies
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience working with senior leaders
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable operating independently in an evolving and sometimes ambiguous environment
- Experience supporting governance, reporting and assurance
Desirable:
- Experience delivering AI, digital, data or transformation programmes
- Previous experience working within UK Government/Civil Service
- Understanding of Government governance and delivery processes
- Familiarity with Agile/iterative delivery
- Experience working across cross-government or multi-stakeholder initiatives
- Understanding of policy development and delivery within Government
