Summary: The AI/ML Engineer role involves designing and delivering advanced GenAI and agentic capabilities, focusing on scalable AI services on AWS. This position is outside IR35 and requires candidates to be based in the UK. The initial contract is set to run until May 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver next-generation GenAI and agentic capabilities.
- Build scalable AI services on AWS, integrating LLMs, RAG, and chatbot frameworks.
- Develop reusable components and orchestrate multi-step AI workflows.
- Collaborate with architects and product teams to operationalize GenAI solutions.
Key Skills:
- Hands-on experience developing GenAI, LLM, RAG, and agentic solutions using AWS services.
- Strong proficiency in AWS AI stack: SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda, S3, ECS/EKS, DynamoDB, Glue, API Gateway.
- Strong Python development skills, including experience with LangChain/LlamaIndex or similar orchestration frameworks.
- Experience building intelligent search pipelines, vector stores, and embedding-based retrieval.
- Understanding of prompt engineering, LLM evaluation, guardrails, and safety principles.
- Experience with MLOps, automation, experimentation frameworks, and cloud-native delivery practices.

AI/ML Engineer - Outside IR35
An AI/Ml Engineer is required to design and deliver next-generation GenAI and agentic capabilities. This covers traditional ML engineering to include Single Entry Point & Intelligent Search, AI Chat & Service Builder Assistant, and LLM experimentation.
The engineer will work hands on to build scalable AI services on AWS, integrating LLMs, retrieval augmented generation (RAG), chatbot frameworks, intelligent search pipelines, and agent based automation. This includes developing reusable components, orchestrating multi step AI workflows, and collaborating with architects and product teams to operationalize GenAI solutions.
Skills;
* Hands-on experience developing GenAI, LLM, RAG, and agentic solutions, ideally using AWS services.
* Strong proficiency in AWS AI stack: SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda, S3, ECS/EKS, DynamoDB, Glue, API Gateway.
