Summary: The role of AI Learning Content Subject Matter Expert (Accounting) involves developing a new AI-focused learning program for finance professionals. The expert will review and create structured learning content that integrates AI concepts into practical applications in accounting and finance. This position is a 50-day remote contract, aimed at enhancing global accounting education through innovative content. The role is classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and interpret existing course collateral and learning blueprints
- Develop structured, outcome-based content across defined modules
- Translate AI concepts into practical accounting and finance use cases
- Ensure full coverage of learning objectives and mandated topics
- Edit and refine content for clarity, accuracy, consistency, and tone
- Work in a module-by-module (waterfall) approach, handing content to instructional designers for build
Key Skills:
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) with strong understanding of finance and accounting functions
- Practical knowledge of AI / machine learning concepts, including generative AI, automation, and business applications
- Proven ability to translate technical or emerging technologies into clear, applied business scenarios
- Experience producing structured written content aligned to defined learning outcomes (e.g. training materials, articles, guides, or course content)
- Strong editing and content refinement skills (clarity, grammar, consistency, accuracy)
