Summary: The role of Korean Language Expert involves evaluating and enhancing AI systems designed for Korean language learning and communication. Candidates will leverage their linguistic expertise and teaching experience to influence AI's understanding and response to Korean learners. Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate AI-generated Korean speech and text for linguistic accuracy, naturalness, and educational quality
- Assess learner speech and writing across proficiency levels from CEFR Pre-A1 through B2+
- Identify learner errors, unnatural phrasing, and pedagogical gaps with expert judgment
- Provide clear, structured feedback that improves AI tutoring and language-learning models
- Collaborate asynchronously with project leads and fellow language experts
- Contribute to raising the overall quality and reliability of AI language instruction
Key Skills:
- Native-level proficiency in Korean
- Experience teaching Korean or evaluating learner language
- Fluent in English (C1/C2 level)
- Familiar with learner speech patterns and CEFR frameworks
- Enrolled in or completed a Bachelor's degree or higher
- Strong attention to detail and consistent in linguistic judgment
- No prior AI experience required
- Experience with language assessment, curriculum design, or standardized testing (nice to have)
