Summary: The AI Enterprise Architect role requires a seasoned professional with a minimum of 7 years of experience to lead AI strategy initiatives remotely. The position involves conducting assessments, identifying AI opportunities, developing strategic roadmaps, and engaging with executives to facilitate AI adoption. The role is focused on aligning AI initiatives with business priorities and ensuring organizational readiness for AI integration. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct workshops and stakeholder interviews across business and IT functions
- Assess current-state business processes, data maturity, operational workflows, and technology landscape
- Evaluate organizational AI readiness, including governance, security, compliance, and operational considerations
- Identify gaps in tooling, data quality, skills, and operating models that may impact AI adoption
- Identify and prioritize AI/GenAI use cases based on business value, feasibility, risk, and implementation complexity
- Develop business cases and ROI estimates for proposed initiatives
- Collaborate with functional leaders to align AI initiatives to strategic priorities
- Categorize opportunities across automation, analytics, copilots, workflow optimization, customer experience, and operational efficiency
- Build phased AI adoption roadmaps with near-, mid-, and long-term initiatives
- Define implementation sequencing, dependencies, resource requirements, and success metrics
- Recommend governance structures, operating models, and adoption strategies
- Provide executive-level recommendations regarding platforms, tooling, and organizational enablement
- Present findings and recommendations to leadership teams
- Facilitate cross-functional alignment discussions
- Support AI awareness and adoption planning activities
- Translate technical concepts into business-focused recommendations
Key Skills:
- 7-15+ years of experience in technology consulting, digital transformation, enterprise architecture, or strategic program leadership
- Experience leading enterprise AI or Generative AI strategy initiatives
- Strong understanding of AI/ML and GenAI capabilities, limitations, and enterprise adoption patterns
- Experience conducting workshops, stakeholder interviews, and executive presentations
- Strong communication and organizational change management skills
- Technical exposure to Microsoft Copilot / Azure OpenAI, AWS AI Services / Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, data & analytics ecosystems, AI governance and responsible AI frameworks, process automation and workflow orchestration, enterprise architecture and integration patterns
