Summary: The role of AI Engineer involves working remotely for an enterprise manufacturing organization focused on scaling AI initiatives across Azure. The position requires hands-on experience in building, deploying, and maintaining production machine learning solutions. The contract is for 12 months, with the possibility of extension or conversion to full-time employment. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in Python and Azure Machine Learning, among other essential qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, deploy, and maintain production ML solutions.
- Develop APIs for ML models using FastAPI, Flask, or .NET.
- Take models from training through to production deployment.
- Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
- Perform data preprocessing and feature engineering.
Key Skills:
- Hands-on experience building and deploying ML models in Azure Machine Learning.
- Strong Python development skills.
- Proven experience with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS preferred).
- Solid understanding of data preprocessing and feature engineering.
- Exposure to Cognitive Services (Vision, Speech, Language) is a plus.
- Experience working in Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
