Project: Regulatory Services Digital Transformation

Location: Remote (UK-based)

Rate: £650/day (Outside IR35, all-inclusive)

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Azure AI and Cloud Specialist to design, build, and implement advanced cognitive search, generative AI, and data ingestion pipelines for a major regulatory services modernization initiative.

The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in modernizing public sector data workflows using Azure cloud architecture, generative AI frameworks, and Microsoft Power Platform integrations.

Technical Stack & Core Competencies

Candidates must demonstrate hands-on expertise and practical project delivery experience across the following technologies:

Azure AI Services: Deep proficiency with Azure OpenAI (or equivalent enterprise LLMs), embedding generation, vector and hybrid search implementations.

Orchestration & Agents: Experience with agent frameworks, prompt engineering, design patterns, and rigorous prompt versioning.

Copilot Studio: Design and deployment of customized conversational agents and copilots.

Search & Indexing: Advanced implementation of Azure AI Search for enterprise data retrieval.

Data Ingestion & Prep: Utilizing Azure Synapse Analytics for large-scale data ingestion and preparation.

Storage & Serverless: Management of Azure Blob Storage alongside Azure Functions for event-driven backend processing.

Integration: Building and maintaining Power Platform custom connectors to bridge cloud services with low-code business applications.

Key Responsibilities

Architect and deploy scalable Generative AI and search solutions within an enterprise Azure environment.

Design robust data ingestion pipelines using Azure Synapse to feed vector and hybrid search indices.

Build automated backend workflows utilizing Azure Functions and integrate them seamlessly with Power Platform custom connectors and Copilot Studio.

Ensure all cloud architecture aligns with enterprise security, data governance, and scalability standards.

Collaborate with technical leads, data engineers, and business stakeholders to translate regulatory requirements into technical solutions.

Contract & Commercial Terms

Rate: £650 per day.

Tax Status: Outside IR35.
