Summary: The AI Data Digital Architect is tasked with designing and governing enterprise-grade digital solutions that align with business strategies, leveraging expertise in digital, data, cloud, and AI architecture. This role requires a blend of technical skills and leadership to ensure initiatives are scalable, secure, and integrated within the enterprise ecosystem. The position is remote and offers a temporary to permanent opportunity for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data engineering and architecture, along with relevant certifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define target state digital architecture across application, data, integration, cloud, and security layers.
- Create architecture roadmaps, technology blueprints, and modernization strategies.
- Lead API strategy, microservices design, and event-driven architecture.
- Design and optimize databases, data warehouses, and data lakes (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
- Define and Understand Master Data Management, data models, metadata management, lineage, and governance frameworks.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, scalability, and compliance (PCI, PII, etc.).
- Lead cloud application build, migration, and architecture on Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform, including landing zones, networking, IAM, and cost optimization.
- Implement cloud-native patterns: serverless, containers, microservices.
- Design integration patterns (REST, GraphQL, messaging, event streaming).
- Govern API lifecycle and enforce reusable service interfaces.
- Knowledge, background, understanding of fundamental security concepts including data encryption, AuthN/AuthZ, SSO, and managed identities.
- Provide solution architecture for complex initiatives.
- Run POCs, evaluate technologies, and guide engineering teams.
- Collaborate with product, security, compliance, and business stakeholders.
- Architect data platforms supporting BI, ML/AI, and real-time analytics.
- Ensure digital systems support omnichannel, ecommerce, or enterprise workflows.
- Knowledge of multi-agent workflows (planner/supervisor specialist agents) with explicit state management and routing, and interoperability via emerging agent protocols (MCP for tool integration, A2A for agent-to-agent delegation) designed for non-deterministic behavior and real operational constraints.

The Data Digital Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and governing enterprise-grade Digital solutions that align with business strategy. This role blends deep technical expertise in Digital, Data, Cloud, and artificial intelligence architecture with strong product intuition, security awareness, and leadership. The Data Digital Architect ensures that Digital initiatives are scalable, ethical, secure, cost-efficient, and integrated into the broader enterprise ecosystem.

Typical Background & Qualifications
