Summary: The role of AI Architect involves designing and delivering scalable AI and machine learning solutions within the Palantir Foundry platform for a major enterprise client. This position is part of a 12-month contract with a global consultancy, focusing on a high-impact AI transformation programme. The architect will work closely with data engineers and scientists to ensure effective integration and deployment of AI solutions. The role requires strong experience in AI architecture and hands-on expertise with relevant technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and design AI and machine learning solutions within the Palantir Foundry platform
- Define scalable architecture for large-scale data processing and AI model deployment
- Design and implement data pipelines using PySpark within distributed data environments
- Work closely with data engineers, data scientists and platform teams to deliver AI solutions
- Define best practices for AI architecture, model deployment and data governance
- Integrate AI solutions with enterprise systems and commercial data sources
- Ensure security, compliance and data governance standards are maintained
- Contribute to architectural decisions across the wider data and AI platform ecosystem
Key Skills:
- Strong experience working as an AI Architect or Senior AI / Machine Learning Engineer
- Hands-on experience working with Palantir Foundry
- Strong experience with PySpark and large-scale distributed data processing
- Experience designing and deploying production AI / ML models
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP
- Strong understanding of enterprise data architecture and modern data platforms
- Strong stakeholder engagement and consultancy experience
- Experience delivering AI solutions within large enterprise data environments (nice to have)
- Experience with MLOps and model lifecycle management (nice to have)
- Experience integrating AI platforms with complex enterprise systems (nice to have)
- Experience working within consultancy or large-scale transformation programmes (nice to have)

This is a 12-month contract engagement paying up to £800 per day Outside IR35, offering the opportunity to work on a high-impact AI transformation programme delivering advanced analytics and machine learning capabilities at scale.
