Summary: The AI Architect role involves designing and overseeing scalable AI solutions on Palantir Foundry, focusing on integrating machine learning, PySpark pipelines, and enterprise data workflows. Key Responsibilities:
- Architect end-to-end AI solutions on Foundry, including ML models, PySpark pipelines, and deployment workflows.
- Select and evaluate ML, data, and platform components within Foundry and cloud ecosystems.
- Establish AI architecture standards, security, governance, and best practices on Foundry.
- Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and product teams for seamless commercial data integration.
- Integrate AI workflows with business systems using Foundry APIs and connectors.
- Ensure data privacy, compliance, and reliability across Foundry-based solutions.
- Troubleshoot architectural issues, pipeline performance, and model reliability.
- Stay updated on AI/ML and Foundry advancements and drive adoption.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in CS, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience as an AI Architect or ML Engineer working with Foundry, PySpark, and cloud big data platforms.
- Strong knowledge of AI/ML algorithms, optimization, and enterprise deployment.
- Expertise in cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP), distributed processing (PySpark), and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, MLlib).
- Solid understanding of data engineering, security, governance, and software architecture on Foundry.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred experience with AI/analytics for pharma or commercial data on Foundry.
- Knowledge of MLOps, DevOps, CI/CD, and automated pipelines.
- Familiarity with big data tools (Spark, Hadoop) and commercial data integrations.
