Summary: The Agile Scrum Master role is a fully remote position focused on supporting multiple teams by implementing SAFe practices, leading Scrum ceremonies, and ensuring quality delivery. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience as a Scrum Master, particularly in Agile environments, and will be responsible for facilitating team progress and communication. Key responsibilities include managing backlogs, coordinating with Product Owners, and promoting Agile principles across the organization. The role requires strong leadership and communication skills to foster team collaboration and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support up to three teams by applying SAFe practices and leading Scrum ceremonies.
- Join PI planning and ensure quality delivery while sharing team status and health.
- Identify impediments and advocate for their resolution or mitigation.
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and quarterly program increment planning.
- Create and manage Agile team backlog, sprint plans, roadmaps, and productivity reporting.
- Coordinate and link test cases and results with user stories and tasks development.
- Promote and support Agile principles and practices across the organization.
- Remove impediments and shield the team from external distractions.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to manage backlogs and assist with user story refinement.
- Track and communicate team progress, metrics, and performance to stakeholders.
- Facilitate continuous improvement efforts and support team development and coaching.
- Coordinate with other Scrum Masters and Agile coaches to foster organizational Agile maturity.
- Assist in risk identification and mitigation throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Skills:
- Scrum Master Certification.
- Minimum ten years' experience as a Scrum Master using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
- Experience identifying impediments and advocating for their resolution.
- Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies for at least one year.
- Knowledge of Atlassian JIRA and Align work management tools.
- Ability to create and manage Agile team backlog and sprint plans.
- Experience coordinating test cases with user stories and tasks.
