Summary: The Agile Delivery Manager will lead the full lifecycle delivery of cloud, application, and infrastructure projects in a hyperscale environment, focusing on Agile delivery and technical coordination. This role involves overseeing project planning, technical execution, and governance for complex digital initiatives while ensuring high-quality outcomes across various teams. The position is home-based with occasional visits to London and is offered on a 3-month contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing delivery teams and building strong customer relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full lifecycle delivery from scoping and planning through deployment and operational handover
- Own the technical delivery roadmap, including resource planning, risk mitigation, and financial tracking
- Apply Agile methodologies, leading sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and release planning
- Create and maintain high-performing delivery teams with clear task prioritisation
- Track progress, manage risks/issues, and remove blockers to maintain momentum
- Provide structured reporting to senior stakeholders, including updates for leadership and C-level audiences
- Build strong customer relationships and act as the primary point of contact throughout delivery
- Ensure quality assurance, accuracy, documentation, and excellent delivery standards
- Drive continuous improvement, promoting best practice in cloud delivery, DevOps, and Agile execution
Key Skills:
- Proven experience delivering IT projects using Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies, with strong Agile expertise
- Experience leading cloud, hyperscale, DevOps, application or infrastructure delivery projects
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including experience presenting to C-level stakeholders
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams across DevOps, Security, Applications and Infrastructure
- Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative, proactive mindset
- Ability to quickly understand new technologies and integrate them into delivery plans
- Relevant Agile certifications such as PMI-ACP, AgilePM, PRINCE2 Agile or similar (desirable)
- Ability to obtain required government or police security clearances (mandatory requirement)

We're looking for an experienced Agile Delivery Manager to lead the full lifecycle delivery of cloud, application, and infrastructure projects within a hyperscale environment. This Agile Delivery Manager role focuses on Agile delivery, technical coordination, and driving high-quality outcomes across engineering, DevOps, and cloud teams.
As an Agile Delivery Manager, you will oversee project planning, technical execution, sprint delivery, customer engagement, and end-to-end governance for complex digital initiatives.
Your responsibilities as the Agile Delivery Manager:
- Manage full lifecycle delivery from scoping and planning through deployment and operational handover
