Summary: The Agile Coach role within the Technology Transformation Office (TTO) focuses on promoting and evolving the FTT Ways of Working (WoW) while supporting Value Stream transformation efforts. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement and customer-centricity. The Agile Coach will provide hands-on coaching, facilitate learning, and advocate for pragmatic agility tailored to the organization's context. The role is essential for embedding agile practices across teams and ensuring alignment with enterprise goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion FTT Ways of Working: Promote and embed the FTT WoW framework across teams, ensuring consistent understanding and application of agile principles tailored to our context.
  • Value Stream Enablement: Collaborate with the TTO and Value Stream leaders to identify bottlenecks, optimize flow, and enhance end-to-end delivery of customer value.
  • Coaching & Mentoring: Provide hands-on coaching to teams, Uber Scrum Masters, Scrum Masters, Capability Business Owners, Capability Product Owners, Capability Leads, Technical Leads, and leaders to build agile capabilities and maturity.
  • Pragmatic Agility: Advocate for practical, outcome-driven agility over rigid frameworks grounded in our FTT Ways of Working. Help teams adopt what works best for their context while staying aligned with enterprise goals.
  • Facilitate Learning: Deliver FTT WoW workshops, training sessions, and learning experiences that build agile fluency and foster a growth mindset in partnership with TTO, as required.
  • Agile Metrics & Insights: Guide teams in using meaningful metrics to drive improvement, not just measurement. Help interpret data to inform decisions and adapt practices.
  • Community Building: Nurture communities of practice and cross-team collaboration to share learnings, successes, and challenges.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience as an Agile Coach, with a strong track record of enabling agile transformations at scale.
  • Deep understanding of agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.), the ability to leverage these frameworks within our FTT Ways of working, and the ability to apply them pragmatically.
  • Experience working with Value Streams and Lean principles.
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Agile certifications (e.g., ICP-ACC, SAFe Program Consultant, Certified Scrum Professional) are a plus.
