Agent AI Architect

Role Summary

A Senior Forward Deployed Engineer works directly with customers to design, build, and deploy AI-powered automation solutions in real customer environments.

Unlike traditional product engineers who build a platform for all customers, FDEs deliver tailored solutions for specific customer business processes and enterprise systems

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build AI-driven workflows, agents, and automations using the UiPath platform.
• Develop AI Agents using UiPath Maestro and Agent Builder.
• Translate business requirements into scalable automation and AI solutions.
• Extend platform functionality using APIs, SDKs, connectors, and integrations.
• Debug and resolve issues across orchestration, AI inference, integrations, and data pipelines.
• Drive customer implementations from design through production deployment.
• Identify risks, communicate blockers, and ensure successful project delivery.
• Contribute reusable components, implementation frameworks, and best practices.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success teams.
• Mentor engineers and help improve technical standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong coding skills in:
• Python
• TypeScript (or similar modern programming languages)
• Experience building APIs and integrations.
• Cloud platform experience.
• Knowledge of enterprise systems and automation platforms.
• Strong customer-facing communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage technical workstreams and customer engagements.
• Experience in solution design and troubleshooting complex systems.

Preferred Skills

• Applied AI and Machine Learning experience.
• Prompt Engineering.
• LLM experience (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, etc.).
• Agentic AI and multi-agent architectures.
• Distributed systems and orchestration frameworks.
• RPA and automation technology experience.
• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related fields (preferred).
